Deference

The democrats could do worse than Hillary Clinton. They could also do better than Barack Obama. I’ve never been a person that falls in love with candidates. No matter what happens, they will break your heart. Why? Because they are politicians.
I cannot help but remain deferential between the top two democratic candidates because I am still more focused on the larger goal at hand: winning the White House. After that, it will take a Democratic-controlled Senate and a Democratic-controlled House to make real progress. A reasonable Supreme Court wouldn’t hurt either.
The president may have the Oval Office, but in Washington, the Congress still holds most of the power. Well, them, and the lobbyists.
