The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

I was wondering why I didn’t recall seeing any commercials for this movie, which stars megastar Brad Pitt, when it was in theaters. And now I realize it’s because it is not that good. Just boring, is all. It is a true story, which is nice, but it’s not that exciting of a true story.

Rent with Netflix.

just saw this last night and had a similar reaction. Definately needed some editing. the 2nd half of the movie was decent and it was sort of interesting knowing the “behind the myth” real story but it was way too slow and at multiple times very odd.
    2 stars for me.
You should see “We own the Night” with Juaquin Phoinex. Saw that this weekend and was 4 stars.
