The Groomsmen

This less than mediocre film solves the age-old question, whatever happened to John Leguizamo? Ed Burns should stay in front of the camera, but he’s not that great of an actor either.

i thought this movie was going to be alot better. Kelly fell asleep through it, I almost did but stayed awake painfully just to see the end. I don’t know why i do that…what is the point exactly? As re-phrased from a classic Seinfeld episode, if you don’t like the film, why stay and torture yourself and waste the extra hour or so. If something’s bad, you know its bad partial way or half way into it. Why suffer with the other half? If you order a dinner at a restaurant and it tastes awful, do you try to suffer through and eat the entire thing??
Yes, I think I’ve done that. We do it to feel like we got our money’s worth….to finish what we started. A distant sense of accomplishment. In reality, that type of ambitious logic is plain stupid. We try to balance it by stating the opposite…..Hey, you got to give this thing a chance. I say this yet i continue to do it….and in the end I always find myself saying ..”well, that’s two hours i’d like to have back”.
