The Car Analogy

I have now heard it from both sides, from supporters of the Obama campaign and supporters of the Clinton campaign, that the opponent (whomever that is, Clinton or Obama) would be disastrous as either a candidate or as the chief executive. I think I can aptly contrast the choice between Clinton and Obama as the democratic nominee to the choice between two cars. In my opinion, the choice is between the LS and ES editions of the same automobile. Same make, same engine, different model. Yes, you may have had your eye on a certain one, but if it is not available for some reason, the lesser model is right there for the taking (whether you consider Clinton or Obama as the premier model, it makes no difference).
These two candidates are within five percent of one another on almost every issue, and given demands by Congress, polls and lobbyists over the course of a four-year term as president, that difference will be lost in the margin-of-error.
