GMail was down for roughly an hour yesterday -- which is like forever in internet speed and time. Google, the super-evil company that runs the service, eventually apologized. But that did give me an excuse to play off the ordeal with my Facebook status...

I do admit that I was flustered throughout the outage. I rely on GMail exclusively for my email, and to think there may have been an unread email for a significant amount of time, anything over five or ten minutes really, it was a very unsettling time for me.
