Palin Watch

What can I say, I’m a political hack.

This is a very nice idea by the fine people at MoveOn.org…

I am thinking “accountability” is not going to be a theme for the McCain-Palin campaign.

It looks right now that the republicans are going to pull this thing off and win the election. They are true masters of manipulations. Just as they pressured the media to not examine and criticize the Bush Administration’s run up to the Iraq war (by calling them unpatriotic), they are allowing this woman to get away with clear distortions and no vetting in the case of “sexism”. And there are so many people out there who will just believe what ever is said. Fucking Sheep!!! The Dems need to do something fast. This was a good quote from Obama today: “Spare me the phony outrage. Spare me the phony talk about change,” Obama said at the start of an education event in Norfolk, Virginia.

“We have real problems in this country right now. The American people are looking to us for answers, not distractions, not diversions, not manipulations. They want real answers to the real problems we are facing.

“I don’t care what they say about me. But I love this country too much to let them take over another election with lies and phony outrage and swift boat politics. Enough is enough,” he said, referring to how Swift Boat Veterans for Truth launched attacks against Sen. John Kerry in the 2004 presidential race.
Obama said the McCain campaign was doing the type of thing that makes people “sick and tired of politics.”

I, too, have that sinking feeling, “dont post this,” but the best weapon against this unholy alliance may be Palin herself. I saw the first excerpts from her interview on ABC World News this evening and she gave the classic “deer in the headlights” look of utter bewilderment when CHarles Gibson mentioned the Bush Doctrine. She clearly had no idea what it was, much less whether she agreed with it or not, until Gibson defined it for her. Needless to say, she believes she’s ready for leadership! HA!
