McCain’s Flow

Oh this is beautiful.
In response to Charlie Gibson’s question about why he did not bring up the Ayers connection in the debate — “to [Obama's] face” — McCain responded, “It didn’t come up in the flow of the conversation.”
What didn’t come up in the “flow” of the conversation? Accusing your opponent of associating with terrorists. Standard fare in most conversations; I’m surprised it didn’t find itself in the flow of the debate on Tuesday evening.
