I’m not an expert on politics. But if you are running for president, and you are demanding that a long-time senator of your own party resigns following conviction on corruption charges, the senator from the state that your running-mate resides and is governor, a running mate that hasn’t equaled your admonishment of said senator, and the election is only seven days away, that is not a good thing. But I’m not an expert.
