Electors Should Be Replaced By Robots

I don’t mind the electoral college. I would rather it not be winner-take-all and that the number of votes for any given state equal the number of congressional districts in that state, however it is a workable system. It has only failed four times in over two hundred years.
But I do think that electors should be replaced by robots and/or computers. There is no reason that these people are necessary anymore, and their front-page recurrence every four years sickens me. Sure the Constitution currently mandates their presence, and their being altogether, but does the Constitution say anything about them not being robots? I didn’t think so.

only an engineer would propose replacing humans with robots or computers. We’d also be living in cost efficient box houses with no windows, the need for day light is so over rated.
