Digital Regression

Leave it to the democrats (or a strong democratic majority) to hold back technological progress. I received my two converter coupons months ago when I experimented with an antenna on my roof. The reception was poor, so now I don’t have any use for them. I keep telling myself though that all I really needed to do was go higher, like with an extension pole, towering high above the house. That should get me a couple more channels, right?

The real reason this is being delayed is the senior vote. Seniors with no cable or satellite and who didn’t realize that the hundreds of commercials regarding the digital transition meant they had to do something. Unfortunately for the rest of us, seniors are reliable voters, and democrats rely on them thinking that Social Security is a good thing so they will keep dems in power. The GOP — first they wanted to take away your Social Security, and now, your TV. But we were there, ensuring no progress on the matter, every step of the way.
